Questions
Every piece is handcrafted by women and teen apprentices on the Thailand–Myanmar border. Sojourn Studio has been doing this work since 2017, as a social enterprise of Global Child Advocates.
Our pieces are made from porcelain bone china, sometimes detailed with a 22k gold luster. Because they're delicate, handle them the way you would fine china, clean metal findings with a polishing cloth, wash porcelain with a mild soap, and take care not to scratch any lustered surfaces, since that finish can wear over time.
Sojourn Studio is a registered social enterprise of Global Child Advocates, a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit and Thai foundation. Your purchase provides fair, dignified income for the woman who made your piece, helping her build savings, support her family, and work toward long-term stability.
Unused, unworn items can be returned within 30 days of receipt (buyer covers return shipping). If something arrives damaged or incorrect, email info@sojournstudio.org within 3 days with photos, and you'll be offered a replacement or store credit.
Yes — there's a wholesale application on the site for retailers interested in carrying Sojourn Studio pieces.
