Gather & Glaze

On April 11th, 2026, we hosted our very first Gather & Glaze in Dripping Springs, Texas, and while we learned some key changes for next time, overall it was everything we hoped it would be.
The room was filled with an incredible group of moms, daughters, and friends - women who came ready to create, connect, and step into something meaningful together. There was laughter, curiosity, and the kind of instant connection that happens when women of substance gather around a shared purpose.
As we shared the story of Sojourn Studio, we invited guests into the idea of transformation - how the women we work with on the Thailand-Myanmar border are building hope-filled futures through dignified work, community, and the constant reminder of their God-given value. It was powerful to see that story resonate in the room, not as something distant, but as something we could all be part of.
Then, we got our hands in clay.
Guests rolled, textured, and shaped their own porcelain pieces, trying techniques our artisans use every day. They painted with gold luster, added delicate butterfly decals, and created something uniquely their own. It was such a joy to watch creativity come alive in every corner of the room.
We were especially honored to have Austin-based artist Quinn Smith with us. Quinn helped shape Sojourn Studio’s signature style and personally trained our artisans in Thailand. Having her guide the process made the experience even more meaningful, connecting each guest directly to the craftsmanship behind every Sojourn piece.
Our team at Sojourn Studio left the afternoon feeling incredibly grateful. Grateful for the women and girls who showed up, for their eagerness to support this mission, and for the beautiful ways God is transforming lives through this community.
Stay tuned for future Sojourn Studio events!
